Vision on future

At this point, the future without mobility seems unimaginable. We use different means of transportation because they save us time and effort to get from one place to another. I look at future mobility as a tool to help us make transportation even more comfortable and efficient than it is today. On top of that, future mobility should not only provide us with travelling from point A to point B, but to some extent also bring aesthetic pleasure.

I believe in future mobility as a representation of comfort, practicality, and efficiency in combination with aesthetic pleasure. This combination is necessary because the more pleasing the design is, the more people it will satisfy, and therefore, more people will become proud users or owners.

The current trends in mobility revolve around electric vehicles, but the world is not ready to go all-electric quickly. Electric car production still leaves a huge carbon footprint, especially because the cars require mining metals like lithium and cobalt, which hugely impact the environment. I see room for improvement and innovations to make the whole process more sustainable and less impactful on the environment.

Following the trends, I also see potential in combining AI and transportation design because I got full renders of designs from a simple sketch within a few minutes. As the technology develops, this changes the whole field of design because I can get different iterations and inspiration suited specifically to my design, keeping the body lines and all of the features of my sketch.

However, whether it is general AI or more narrow tools for image and video creation, these tools require energy to process the prompts, formulate answers, and create visuals. These tools are game-changing when it comes to time efficiency, as they can speed up the whole design process, but at what cost? How can we improve this process and make it more sustainable? AI tools are here to stay, so we should optimize the energy consumption or at least effectively compensate for the hefty energy requirements.
